I’m from New York City. I have been a Chef for the past 20 years. I enjoy travel, sports and reading. I love my wife and my cat…..and we are moving to Jakarta, Indonesia…..

Oh, one last thing…I used to be a drummer in a Hard Rock Band…back in the 90’s…I will try to post a pick!

Hey! This stuff is terrific, and fun. Now I wish I’d read it when you were standing right here so I could laugh out loud — especially at the first one with the Knicks. Were we really in the last row?

How about on skiing — like getting lost twice, alone on the mountain in the snow and fog, at Stowe when you were 4 or 5 and lost your sister Chrissy, and again at Black Comb in Vancouver when you were gone for a day? Then at Vail for the million $$ party at the Swedish industrialist’s place where you circulated the room like you knew everybody… or sailing where you got beaten up by Godine and the other publishers for trying to sleep through midnight watch on the overnight sailing crew to Maine, then the glorious do at the NY Yacht Club in Newport?

Despite Shana’s misgivings, I found only one grammatical error –“peoples” should have been “people’s”, because it denotes the possessive case, like Ray’s blog, Shana’s new job, Germany’s Third Reich.

    I’ll keep reading this blog.

Hey, you got over 200 hits.
I’m going to miss you a lot; have a safe trip albeit 2 days in the air, god!You arrive Tuesday, we’ll do Skype Tuesday night at 8 p.m. NY time (8 a.m. Jakarta) as planned. See you in Millbrook in July I hope. I’ll come in September probably, stopping along the way — Pyrenees, Istanbul, Amman, Kashmir, more. Come with me to the ancient temple city Solo (not Soho) on Java for gamalon and to Bali for batiks and dance, okay?
    much love,
